1. Nearly every single guru advertisement with that get rich with a lot of work real quick, anybody can grind attitude.
2. Getting the impression that something is "brand new" and "no one else knows my expert secrets."
3. Specifically if it calls for a "simple three-step system," an "obscure trick," or some sort of "magical copy & paste solution." If that's how it is, I'll just let my dogs run the company.
4. I had to give up my email address (and occasionally even my phone number) in order to obtain the "free training" that everyone else already teaches for free.
5. Realizing afterward the "free training" was only a 90-minute webcast with no instruction.
6. Feeling the pressure of an absurd countdown to a purchase.
7. Dealing with daily spam emails (and sporadic texts) pleading with me to purchase items that should have expired when the timer struck zero.
8. The everlasting SUPER douchey "look at this Lamborghini and this mansion" marketing intros.
9. Pitch decks that largely ignore the actual business and the teaching processes and really only concentrate on selling dreams or emotions.
10. Outlandish income projections, especially when they promise quick returns with little work or experience.
11. Business models based on any of the following:
A. Stocking products
B. Customer service
C. Hiring virtual assistants
D. High-pressure sales tactics
E. Platforms that are easily shut down such as Amazon, Audible, and Walmart
F. High amounts of overhead
G. Fierce rivalries
H. Spending even more money on advertising
12. Opting for screenshot testimonials from Facebook groups rather than actual case studies, which are significantly more valuable.
13. Retargeting advertising that follows me across the internet.
14. Mentors & Experts who haven't put their advice into effect in a long time. I mean come on, at least prove that this is an effective income stream for you instead of coaching.
15. Those same "experts" who ostensibly spend their entire day marketing their program and creating the same cheesy advertisements.
17. Lack of results to prove how life-changing the program actually is.
18. Being bombarded with upsells AFTER joining the program.
19. After joining then realizing that the training's clearly outdated.
20. Not receiving the responsibility and help I was promised.
21. The sensation of a breathing ATM rather than a living individual.
Okay, you were the perfect audience for my recent cathartic verbal vomit session. I appreciate you being my poop bag. Oh, and if you were nodding in agreement, take a breath; this is what you've been looking for.
P.S. This is an exclusive invitation to meet my personal mentor. This man gave me my most successful, semi-passive, cash-producing monster, and I know he can do the same for you. Welcome to the club.
